2026 Embrace Student Internship Program

Embrace is offering paid 100-hour internships to students to WA university students, hosted by researchers and staff at The Kids Research Institute Australia (The Kids). To be eligible, you must be completing your undergraduate degree (third/fourth year or Honours) or master’s degree in a mental health (e.g. psychology) or related health science (e.g. public health) field.

The internships will run during the mid-year semester break (June-July) and will occur during standard office hours, Monday to Friday. As an Embrace intern, you will be onboarded as a staff member at The Kids, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a research institute for the duration of your 100 hours.

The Embrace team will share opportunities with students in April 2026. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview in early May, with successful students to be onboarded as staff in May/June 2026.
