2026 Embrace Student Internship Program - Applications now open!
Embrace is offering two paid 100-hour internships to WA-based university students, hosted by researchers and staff at The Kids Research Institute Australia (The Kids). Internship placement applications are now open. Please click the links below to find out more about each internship and apply now.

Applications close 11:59pm AWST Tuesday 19 May. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview in May, with successful students to be onboarded as staff by June 2026.

To apply to the application pool, you must be completing your undergraduate degree (third/fourth year or Honours) or master’s degree in a mental health (e.g. psychology) or related health science (e.g. public health) field.
The internships will run occur during standard office hours, Monday to Friday. As an Embrace intern, you will be onboarded as a staff member at The Kids, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a research institute for the duration of your 100 hours.
