Do you want to help shape how hospitals care for children and their families? We are looking for young people, parents/carers, and CAHS staff to join our advisory groups.
Our Consumer Advisory Groups help guide important research aimed at shaping the way hospitals care for children and their families so that medical experiences feel safe, empowering, and supportive. Our goal is to find ways to reduce stress and increase kids’ and families’ wellbeing while in the hospital.
We have three groups to support our projects:
- Youth Consumer Advisory Group: For young people aged 12-24 years old who have been patients at WA hospitals within the last year.
- Parent/Carer Consumer Advisory Group: For parents and carers who have children who have attended WA hospitals within the last year.
- Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) Staff Advisory Group: For CAHS staff working in a WA hospital.
