Cultural safety resources

A hub of resources to support cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, families, and communities.

We understand cultural safety as an environment that recognises, respects, and nurtures a person's unique cultural identity.

It's not about fitting people into systems, it is about creating spaces where people feel empowered to be who they are.

Ultimately, cultural safety is a journey of shared respect, shared meaning, and shared learning, where everyone walks together with dignity and listens deeply.

Below, you will find resources we have developed to support cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.

To the left, you will also find links to resources developed by the research program Transforming Indigenous Mental Health and Wellbeing (TIMHWB).
